Arthroscopy:

a minimally invasive procedure that allows doctors to diagnose and sometimes treat joint injuries and disease through small incisions in the skin. It is often performed to confirm a diagnosis made after a physical examination and other imaging tests such as MRI, CT scan or X-rays.

Defined as any type of break or crack in the bone. This can range from a small crack to a complete separation, and can be caused by a traumatic event or by normal activities in patients with low bone density, a condition known as osteoporosis.
