The Charter Yacht Cimarron is a classic wooden yacht available for day sails and ovenight (term) charters.

She departs daily from Camden, Maine throughout the summer and Cruz Bay, St John, US Virgin Islands in the winter.

Cimarron is a classic wooden yawl built in 1969. The name of this beauty comes from a river in the southwest United States. It is associated with wild horses, and also with runaway slaves—all symbols of an independent and adventurous spirit.

Captain Rick Smith grew up on the water. He was raised in Portland, ME and has been sailing the Maine waters for over 40 years. He has an intimate knowledge of the history of the area and is always willing to share his stories.

Captain RIck now winters in the warm turquoise waters of the US Virgin Islands.

The US Virgin Islands includes some of the finest Caribbean sailing and beaches in the world.

On our trips, you are likely to see dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and stingrays. It is a snorkeler's paradise, with coral reefs teeming with tropical fish.

The Cimarron is moored in Great Cruz Bay and is available for charter throughout St John, St. Thomas, and the British Virgin Islands.

Anchored in Camden, one of the prettiest towns on the coast of Maine, the Cimarron is available for charter and sails from Camden and Rockport as well as throughout Penobscot Bay during summers.
